Two men sustained injuries and were taken to hospital

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two men were reportedly assaulted outside an Essex pub. Police were called at about 11.45pm on Wednesday July 1 to reports of the assault in Epping New Road, Buckhurst Hill.

Two men sustained injuries and were taken to hospital. Thankfully, neither of their injuries were found to be life-threatening nor life-changing.

Police launched an investigation which led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man from Loughton by West Mercia Police. This investigation continues and enquiries are ongoing.
