The police have registered a case against two persons, including a minor boy, on the charge of performing motorcycle stunts on Kavundampalayam flyover. The arrested were identified as N. Santhosh (21) of Sundaram Street at R.S. Puram and a 17-year-old boy.

According to the police, the duo performed the stunt on the flyover on Wednesday. A video of the stunt was later uploaded on social media. The Kavundampalayam police registered a case against them on Thursday. Further investigation is on.

The Singanallur police on Thursday arrested five persons on the charge of possessing 2.5 kg of ganja and 2,830 tablets of a prescription drug.

M. Madhavan (23) of Aruldaspuram in Madurai, R. Rabigar (22) of Anna Nagar at Chinniyampalayam, M. Jayaraj (28) of Thaneerpandal at Peelamedu, S. Akash (19) of Oddarpalayam near Sulur and R. Tamilarasan (20) of Neelambur were arrested with the contraband from a place near SIHS Colony, behind the Coimbatore airport.
