An A-10 Thunderbolt II performs a demonstration during the Frontiers in Flight Air Show and Open House at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, Oct. 24, 2026. The A-10 Thunderbolt II “Warthog” is built specifically for close air support, featuring rugged construction, straight wings, twin turbofan engines and an unmistakable profile. In addition to conducting a formation demonstration, the aircraft were also on static display as part of the air show.
