A frustrated Maryland mother has claimed that a man living in the sewage drains near her house is harassing and chasing her children, calling the unusual situation 'unbelievable.'
Baltimore County mom Unique Wiggins said her 21-year-old daughter called her one Friday evening frightened by their home in the Lutherville-Timonium area of the county.
'Mom, I'm scared,' she told Wiggins, CBS Baltimore reported. 'The man told me I can't walk right here and to just dip.'
Wiggins told the outlet that her daughter said she was referring to 'the man in the sewer' and that her children made similar complaints at least four times.
That caused Wiggins to finally go over to the sewer system by her home, when she heard a person singing and immediately called him out.
'Leave my f***ing kids alone,' Wiggins told him, she recalled.
But the man, who has not been publicly identified, shot back that Wiggins should tell the kids to instead leave him alone.
'They can't possibly be messing with you, and you are in the sewer,' Wiggins replied.

Wiggins has urged local authorities to place a 'no trespassing' sign by the sewer system and cover its holes
Wiggins said she had called Baltimore County police on the man in the sewer, claiming that he talked to her kids and chased them down the street.
She claimed police told her that their response was limited since sewer lines and culverts were public property.
Wiggins, who moved to the area in May, insisted that she and her kids felt like they were not 'protected' from the man.
'I'm not saying this gentleman should necessarily go to jail, but he should not live in the sewer,' Wiggins told the outlet.
'He should not be able to be down there,' she added.
Wiggins' children captured video of a police officer attempting to communicate with the man.
'Get dressed, then come on out, okay?' the officer said while speaking into the sewer.
Wiggins called for authorities to cover the sewer's holes and install a 'no trespassing' sign by the site.
'I would like Baltimore County to make me feel like I am a member of this community,' she said.
Wiggins added that she believed the man had trespassed onto her property and broken into her car, as well.
The man was arrested and released on his own recognizance on October 13, Baltimore County Police told the outlet.
A peace order was served Thursday, though it will expire next Monday, October 26.
On Friday afternoon, Wiggins wrote on Facebook that the man had turned 'irate' and started screaming at her after she initially confronted him.
She posted footage of him shirtless and seemingly scratching itches over his upper body as he yelled from across the street.
Wiggins asked why the man could 'live in a drain' in a community 'where there are children and public schools.'
'This sounds inhumane honestly!' she wrote.
The Daily Mail has reached out to the Baltimore County Police Department and Wiggins for further comment.
