Dhanuka Agritech Ltd, an agri-input company, has introduced Tembotrax, an early post-emergence herbicide containing ‘Tembotrione 34.4% SC’, for weed management in maize and sugarcane cultivation across key agricultural regions of India.

A media statement said Tembotrax is a systemic HPPD-inhibiting herbicide that disrupts carotenoid biosynthesis, causing visible bleaching of susceptible weeds while offering crop selectivity in maize and sugarcane when used as recommended.

Tembotrax offers broad-spectrum weed control against both narrow-leaf and broadleaf weeds through a single spray application, helping farmers manage weed competition in maize and sugarcane cultivation, it said.
