A lot can happen in a week. Some of it good. Some of it bad. Some of it downright ugly. When faced with intriguing developments in the week's news, we turn to a rotating panel of "non-experts" to parse The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of it all.

This week, our panel weighs in on these stories:

• Plans to livestream the execution of the Fort Hood shooter being cancelled
• A high school production of "Little Shop of Horrors" being cancelled over concerns that a girl playing the lead role of a male character could violate Texas law
• A 99-year-old woman setting a world record by walking on the wing of a flying plane

Our panel of non-experts this week includes:

• Bob Sanborn, CEO of Children at Risk
• Raúl Ramos, associate professor of history at the University of Houston
• Mary Flood, legal consultant with Androvett Legal Media & Marketing
