WASHINGTON, October 23. /TASS/. The Ukrainian conflict is nearing its end, US President Donald Trump has said.

"I settled eight raging wars or soon to be wars. Some of them were just about started, and we’re close to I think ending two more. I think [the conflict between] Russia [and] Ukraine is getting at that position," he said, speaking to supporters in the state of Iowa.

The war between the US and Iran is also "going to be done very soon," Trump added. "One way or the other, it’s almost insignificant to me which way," he said, adding that gasoline and oil prices would "tumble down" after that.
