HoYoVerse shared two updates for 7.0 Genshin Impact releases, as it set a date for the Special Program 7.2 stream and dropped the “A Lyght of the Mone for Thee” EP album with songs from the 7.1 soundtrack. The album is on Apple Music and Spotify now. The livestream will air at 5am PT/8am ET/2pm CET on October 23, 2026 on Twitch and YouTube.

With the 7.2 Genshin Impact Special Program, we already know what to expect from the live stream. The two new characters who will show up are Mitya and Valeriy. Since both are associated with the Snezhnaya Armory Palace, it’s likely the new Archon Quests will be set there or involve it. We’ll also get Primogem codes, as usual.

As for the Genshin Impact “A Lyght of the Mone for Thee” EP album, all three notable songs from the soundtrack for 7.1 soundtrack are there. Each one is composed by HoYo-MiX, as usual. All of them are from the 2026 version of the Moonchase Festival event.
