Pre-orders for Apple‘s highly anticipated foldable phone have begun. Users have already been able to secure a unit of this iPhone Duo, which will begin shipping to the first customers later this week. To sell it in Europe, the manufacturer had to provide the mandatory energy label required by the European Union, which reveals the battery capacity. According to this label, the iPhone Duo’s battery capacity is 4,883 mAh.

The label reveals that the iPhone Duo will have a 4,883 mAh battery divided into two parts. Furthermore, the energy label gives us an approximate figure for its battery life, although we’ll have to test how it performs in real-world use. iPhones are known for their well-optimized operating system, which directly impacts battery life, and this foldable iPhone from Apple has a surprisingly long battery life.

According to the label, the iPhone Duo offers a battery life of 51 hours and 30 minutes on a full charge. This is less than the iPhone 18 Pro Max, which boasts up to 62 hours of battery life according to the same label. The iPhone Duo has two screens, the inner one being even larger, yet this battery life is impressive for the company’s first foldable phone.

In addition, the label has given us information about the battery’s durability, as it can be charged up to a thousand cycles while maintaining its performance.

The iPhone Duo’s battery capacity is expected to be the same in all markets because the phone uses eSIM worldwide. This means its battery size should not vary by region.
