A single-page family tree of the Anson family of Shugborough, Staffordshire, following the line of descent over thirteen generations. It begins with William Anson, a barrister who bought Shugborough in 1624, and runs down to Thomas William Robert Anson, the 6th Earl of Lichfield (born 1978).

The tree includes the wives and their parents, the family’s titles (Baron Anson, Viscount Anson and Earl of Lichfield), and Admiral George Anson (1697–1762), First Lord of the Admiralty. It also shows how the estate passed through his sister Janette’s family to George Adams, who took the name Anson in 1773.
