Parkridge Health System, part of HCA Healthcare announced Carlos Salcedo, CPA, as chief financial officer of Parkridge Valley Hospital.

“Carlos brings strong financial leadership experience and a proven ability to partner with teams to strengthen operational performance,” said Chris Cosby, president and chief executive officer of Parkridge Health System. “His strategic approach and commitment to service will be valuable as Parkridge Valley Hospital continues to grow and expand access to high-quality behavioral healthcare for patients and families across our community.”

Mr. Salcedo joins Parkridge Valley Hospital from TriStar Summit Medical Center, where he served as assistant chief financial officer and partnered with leaders across the organization to strengthen financial and operational performance. He brings extensive experience in financial strategy, expense management, capital planning and operational improvement.

Prior to joining TriStar Summit, Mr. Salcedo served as an audit manager with HCA Healthcare Internal Audit. His professional background also includes service as a police detective in Smyrna, Tn., and as a sergeant in the U.S. Army, experiences that helped shape his commitment to teamwork, service and accountability.

Mr. Salcedo earned a Master of Accountancy from Belmont University and is a certified public accountant.
