A man in Wyoming was arrested after he threatened a woman with a sword and a crossbow, after already holding her at gunpoint for allegedly cheating on him.
'I’m about ready to kill the evil that’s killing me,' 45-year-old Jesse Ward said while pointing his gun at a woman's head, shortly before putting down the gun to pick up a sword, affidavits obtained by Cowboy State Daily (CSD) revealed.
Ward had accused the woman of infidelity on October 10, according to an audio recording of the encounter which was taken from a camera with a covered lens inside of the bedroom.
The woman alleged that Ward pointed the sword at her and lunged at her twice threatening to kill her, CSD reported.
'At this point in the video, a sound can be heard which is consistent with the tip of a long blade being dragged across something,' the charging document seen by WKRC read.
'[Ward] kept repeating, ‘I want you to die,’ then yelled ‘GET BACK,’ ordering her to get on the bed again,' the affidavits stated.
Throughout the encounter, Ward could be heard saying 'I’m about ready to make you eat a bullet,' 'I’m about ready to end you,' and 'I will turn around and get handcuffed after I put you out of your misery,' according to affidavits seen by the outlet.
Ward put down the sword to pick up a crossbow, authorities told WKRC.

Ward used a sword to threaten the woman, authorities revealed
After putting down the sword and the gun which he nicknamed 'Glock 40,' Ward picked up a crossbow and pointed it at the woman, police affidavits revealed
The woman said she doesn't know enough about crossbows to decipher whether it was ready to fire or not, but she did see a bolt in the device pointed at her, affidavits seen by CSD reported.
The woman was able to get away from Ward by grabbing the gun and going outside, the affidavits stated.
When Ward came out to find her, she went back inside and locked herself inside the house.
She was able to make a call to law enforcement shortly before Ward forced his way back in and knocked the phone out of the woman's hand, according to CSD.
Ward is currently held at the Laramie County Jail and will appear for a hearing in court on October 21. His bail was posted at $50,000.
