A Georgia mother allegedly handed her teenage daughter a golf club to attack another girl during a vicious fight, leaving the victim with a fractured skull and staples in her head.

Curtisia Heath, 36, is accused of arming one of her two teens with a golf club Monday afternoon as they unleashed a brutal beating on a 14-year-old girl at a Newnan bus stop, leaving her unresponsive, according to WSB-TV.

Disturbing video obtained by the outlet showed several teenagers screaming, throwing punches and pulling each other's hair before Heath allegedly came into the frame wielding a golf club.

She then allegedly passed it to one of her daughters, who struck the victim, 14-year-old Keira Harps, in the head, leaving her with a fractured skull, neck swelling and a gaping wound requiring staples.

'I feel like ya’ll tried to kill my daughter. That’s what went through my mind,' the victim's mother, Syrite Harps, told KPTV News.

'She was laid on the ground. She was passed out, couldn’t get no response from her. She wasn’t moving. I thought she was dead.'

But Heath's mother, Cherry Hart, offered a starkly different version of events, claiming the cellphone video showed her daughter was actually trying to defuse the situation.

'What I see in that video is her protecting her kids and breaking up the fight, merely breaking up the fight,' she told WSB-TV.

Heath was arrested on an aggravated assault charge, while her two unidentified daughters, aged 15 and 16, were also booked into a youth detention center on the same charge.

Meanwhile, doctors said Keira is making good progress and is expected to make a full recovery, with the teen potentially being released from the hospital as early as Tuesday.

'You let your child hurt my child. I am going to get justice,' her mother told the outlet. 'The same way you take up for your kids, I take up for my kids like that, too.'

The brawl erupted just after 6.30pm Monday in the parking lot of the Highland Apartments on Ball Street, near the teens' bus stop, after a heated verbal exchange broke out.

Keira's older sister, Jasmine Osirio, said Heath's two daughters had been bullying her sister online and recently targeted her over the outfit she wore for her school's spirit week, according to WSB-TV.

She said she and Keira headed to the bus stop together, where the teen was preparing to confront the sisters. Osirio tried to talk things out with Heath, though she said the conversation quickly backfired.

'I’m trying to talk to the mother, but she just wouldn’t talk to me back. So, after that, it just broke loose,' she told KPTV.

Newnan police said the situation escalated when Heath retrieved a golf club from her apartment and handed it to her 16-year-old daughter, who allegedly 'ran toward the 14-year-old victim and struck her on the head,' according to 11Alive News.

Heath's 15-year-old daughter allegedly grabbed the golf club from her sister and 'struck a second juvenile victim,' according to authorities. The second victim did not report any injuries.

'She was bleeding. Then, she hyperventilated and passed out,' Osirio told KPTV, describing her sister. 'It continued, and they also hit me with the golf club as well.'

Harps said she rushed to the apartment complex after learning her daughter had been struck in the head, arriving to find the 14-year-old lying on the ground unresponsive.

'When I walked up to her, I was like, "Keira, say something. I need you to say something to me." They kept lifting up her hands and lifting up her hands, and finally she started slowly opening her eyes,' she told WSB-TV.

'We tried to give you the chance to talk to us as an adult, and you did not want to do that. And then you turn around and let your child hurt my child.'

Heath was arrested and booked into the Coweta County Jail on an aggravated assault charge, with police describing the golf club as a 'deadly weapon.'

Her two teenage daughters were also taken into custody and transported to a youth detention center, where they are facing the same charge.
