It’s time, HYROX fans: Tickets for the much-anticipated HYROX in Dubai are now on sale.

Following the popular event in Abu Dhabi, HYROX fans in Dubai can now get a taste of the sweaty action.

The two-day HYROX event will take place in Dubai on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28. Go with a locked-in mindset because it promises to be bigger, better and more high-energy than ever before.

There are two types of tickets: Athlete tickets and spectator tickets (& add on).

Athlete tickets include a choice between singles and doubles with further options, including open and pro. For Relay options, you can pick between men, women or mixed. Ticket prices are from Dhs544.81.

The organisers have also introduced a ‘Flex Add-On’ and ‘Flex Lite’ option, giving athletes peace of mind should they need to back out. However, if you’re absolutely certain that this is something that you cannot miss, save your dirhams and purchase your ticket without the add-on.

For spectators, tickets cost Dhs70 per day per adult and child over 12. Under 12s can go free but they need to be registered. An important note: Children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult over 16 (with a paid ticket).

Where is HYROX Dubai taking place? The event will take place at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai.

Hyrox is known as ‘the World Series of Fitness Racing’ – a global indoor fitness competition which became really popular since its launch in Hamburg back in 2017.

The competition follows the same format the world over and alternates eight 1km runs with eight functional workout stations, totalling eight km of running, plus eight stations. These stations again are always the same: SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls.

Since the course stays identical at every single event, all athletes who face the challenge can compare their times on one single leaderboard.

But don’t let this stress you out or stop you from applying. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a first-timer chasing a new challenge, there are Pro and Open divisions, so it’s open to all abilities.

We’re still debating if we’re going to jump right in and participate or just cheer from the sidelines.
