End users are buying .si domains, but so far it seems mostly for defensive purposes.

Domain investors have been piling into .si domains after Donald Trump said the U.S. would refer to AI as SI.

But what about end users? Well, this week’s Sedo sales list has two end users buying .si domains. They are companies that already use .ai and forward the .si domain to the .ai. This means they are defensive purchases. It begs the question: would an AI company start a business on a .si domain if they don’t own the matching .ai?

Here’s a list of the end user domain sales I could dig up from Sedo’s sales over the past week. You can view previous lists like this here.

Plasma.si $20,000 – This is an end user purchase. Plasma AI uses the domain plasma.ai and forwards the .si version to the .ai domain.

CooLive.com $9,895 – CooLive is a video chat app.

Aleph.co $6,000 – Aleph helps organizations with tech employees and AI workforce transformation.

ReadyHealth.de €4,980 – Fitness Nation GmbH operates Fitness Nation, which connects people with fitness training and coaching.

GrandOpen.com $4,500 – Grand Open is an AI website builder.

Verwaltung.online €4,123 – Prosuna is an open-source platform to digitize administrative processes. This domain is German for administration.

RareJewelry.com $3,999 – RARE is a jewelry seller.

Gab.si $3,988 – This is an end user purchase. Gab AI uses the matching .ai domain and forwards the .si version to the .ai version.

Albert.si $3,988 – Albert is an AI tool.

Mitarbeitertarife.de €3,000 – Insurance company Georg Soller GmbH bought this domain. The domain means something along the lines of employee rates in German.

SecLab.fr €2,950 – seclab provides cybersecurity defense for industrial and critical systems (OT).

Evor.eu €2,300 – EVOR provides monitoring for construction sites.

Bivado.com $2,245 – This is a typo purchase for Bevado, an AI assistant for salespeople.

ChatMagic.com €2,000 – Chat Magic offers AI agents built for businesses.
