There’s never been a better time to test your survival skills! The original Stranded Deep will be free to play on Steam from October 15–19, giving players the chance to experience its unforgiving Pacific island survival adventure at no cost. For those ready to make the island their permanent home, a special 60% discount will be available from October 15–22.

But that’s not all for fans of the series. Alongside the free weekend, a new developer blog for the upcoming Stranded Deep 2 will reveal more about the next chapter of the survival adventure.

A FREE TASTE OF ISLAND SURVIVAL

In the aftermath of a mysterious plane crash, players find themselves stranded in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, with no way to call for help. To survive, they’ll need to scavenge for resources, craft tools, build shelter and explore the islands and underwater depths around them.

The free weekend runs from October 15–19, giving players the full opportunity to test their survival instincts. Enjoying the experience? Pick up the game at 60% off until October 22 and keep the adventure going.
