The war for the soul of the solar system is nigh as Stardock today announced that Ashes of the Singularity II will release November 10, 2026, on Steam. The sequel to the massive-scale real-time strategy game puts players in the middle of a war over humanity’s future, fighting against enemies that have already surpassed it.

Set in the near future, Ashes of the Singularity II puts humanity in a fight for its own survival. The Post-Human Coalition, a faction of humans who have abandoned their physical bodies, has become the most technologically advanced power in the solar system. At the same time, a rogue artificial intelligence has built the AI Substrate, a machine civilization determined to secure its own future at any cost. Caught between them, humanity is losing ground.

The nations of Earth have set aside long-standing rivalries to form the United Earth Forces. Outmatched in technology and weaker unit for unit, the UEF must rely on what humanity still does best: large armies, disciplined infantry, and strategies drawn from thousands of years of military experience.

“We’re grateful to every player who jumped in during Next Fest and our playtests. Ashes of the Singularity II is a better game because of them,” said Adrian Wright, Vice President of Entertainment at Stardock. “On November 10, the fight to save humanity begins in massive-scale RTS battles we’re eager for players to experience.”

Players can lead humanity through the singleplayer campaign or take command of any of the three factions in instant action skirmish and multiplayer, each with its own units and unique style of play.

Since the Steam Next Fest demo and September’s public multiplayer playtest, the development team has continued to improve gameplay, balance, performance, and multiplayer stability based on player feedback.

Ashes of the Singularity II Key Features:

Ashes of the Singularity II will release on November 10, 2026. The standard edition will be available at launch for $39.99; with a premium edition that includes the game, first three DLC packs and soundtrack for $69.99. Both editions will carry a special 20% launch discount from Nov. 10-17
