MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/. Successful cooperation between Russia and Iran in various areas continues, Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Saeed Tavakoli said at Russian Energy Week.

"We had a remarkable experience of cooperation between Iran and the Soviet Union. <…> Successful cooperation and interaction continue across a wide range of areas. This exchange and partnership pursuing goals that are of interest to all countries, remain ongoing," he said.

The Russian Energy Week (REW) International Forum is taking place in Moscow from October 14 to 16. It is being held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the Government of Moscow.
