It’s here, the moment we have all been waiting for.

“She’s not that famous. She probably wasn’t dressed up very well and she came in demanding something that wasn’t for sale.

I mean, if you go at somebody, you gotta go after Amazon, Facebook, like a multinational. You can’t do this to some small toy store.
“I mean, that’s like pathetic. That’s even below something I would do.”

Posting on X, she recounted being treated like Julia Roberts’ character in Pretty Woman, with staff eyeing her “as if I couldn’t afford it” and offering to track down something “comparable.” She called the employee an “idiot” who “just lost a huge sale.”
Clarkson later reposted an image of the price tag and said a salesperson had explicitly told her she could buy the bird.

Art of Play says Molly is attached to the wall as its mascot and used in magic shows, not for sale, and that a nearly identical bird was available from Seattle artist Bliss Kolb for the same $15,000. The store says it also offered a German-made singing bird for about $2,000 she could have taken home that day, and that her visit lasted under 5 minutes.

He says Kolb takes years to build the birds and only 2 exist.

Rubin says Clarkson’s complaint brought threats and put the shop in danger.
