WASHINGTON, October 13. /TASS/. New White House spokeswoman Katie Zacharia has answered questions from only three journalists at her debut briefing.

This interaction with the press lasted only about 14 minutes, including almost eight and a half minutes of the introductory remarks. This left only about five minutes for journalists’ questions, while regular briefings at the White House and the US State Department usually lasted about 45 minutes or more. Zacharia explained the brevity of the briefing by President Donald Trump’s busy schedule and his possible interaction with reporters.
