Messerschmitt Me-109By BAFR24(2026-05-18)This is a Messerschmitt Me-109, registered N90602. It was built under a 1943 license as a Hispano HA-1112-M1L Buchon. The Buchon is notably different from the Me-109 as it had a different engine and a different exhaust structure. In 1969, it was used in the film Battle of Britain as a Bf-109 substitute. It eventually found its way to the Tillamook Air Museum and the Erickson Aircraft Collection. In the 2010s, it was converted from a Buchon to a Messerschmitt Me-109 which included a new canopy, new avionics, a new tail and a LOT more! It's remained at the Erickson collection since.
