Catherine Zeta-Jones, 57, answered her husband Michael Douglas’s claim that she’s reading his new memoir, joking on Today on Oct. 8 that she hadn’t cracked One Helluva Ride, which came out Oct. 6.
A day earlier, Douglas told Page Six his wife was “in the midst of [reading] it right now,” and said he had “no regrets” about the book.

Host Willie Geist told her Douglas had come home, “peeked around the corner,” saw she didn’t seem upset, and figured they were “in good shape.” Her answer: “He caught me in a good time.”

We got a 25-year age difference,” he said, noting his affair with Kathleen Turner happened when “Catherine was 7 years old.”
The book also revisits the night they met, when Douglas told her, “I’m going to be the father of your children.” On The View on Oct. 9, she called that “a little much… and everything is true. Twenty-six years on, and I’m a lucky lady.”
On the same show, she clarified: “No, of course I’m going to read it.”
