Dancing With the Stars fans were shocked when they saw that Daniella Karagach and her husband, Pasha Pashkov, won’t be apart of the show’s upcoming live tour in 2027.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Karagach revealed why she and her husband won’t be a part of the project and said that even though they weren’t announced in the tour’s lineup that they’ll probably still make an appearance someway, somehow. “We’re probably going to be in and out,” she said. “We just want to take this time to truly just enjoy our family.”
Karagach noted that she and Pashkov “haven’t had a moment” to focus on their family in awhile. The couple are proud parents to their 3-year-old daughter, Nikita.
“She has been on three tours. We haven’t had a break, and I think this is the time to just inhale each other and go for a vacation in December or something,” she said.
However, Karagach noted that fans should be optimistic about seeing them on tour. “[We could] pop in and out because I think we should do some of the stuff. That’d be fun,” she teased. “We’ll do a few weeks here and there.”
On Oct. 6, ABC revealed that Karagach and Pashkov won’t be apart of the DWTS live 2027 tour when it shared the offical roster of stars, who’ll be featured in the event, such as Brandon Armstrong, Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Hailey Bills, Sharna Burgess, Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Ezra Sosa, Adele Zaikman, Britt Stewart, and troupe dancers Kamri Peterson, Onye Stevenson, Jaxon Willard and Carter Williams.
As for Karagach, she says she’s more focused on trying to win Season 35 of DWTS with her partner, Ezra Frech.
“It’s a roller-coaster. There’s emotions, and there’s ups and downs, and there’s challenges we face in rehearsal and challenges we face in life,” Frech added to Us Weekly during the joint interview. “That’s part of the process. But having Dani as the therapist, the best friend, the coach and the all of the above is so valuable.”
He continued, “I try to learn as much as I can from her and just absorb, absorb, absorb as much as possible because she’s so talented and so amazing at what she does. Anyone that says anything nice about my dancing, it’s only because of her.”
