KSI slapped MMA fighter Dillon Danis with a pancake during a heated press conference on Tuesday, just a week after Chris Eubank Jr. cracked an egg on Conor Benn’s face - but fans cast doubt on the authenticity of the incident.

The altercation erupted during the face-off, with Danis lunging at KSI before security dragged him off the stage.

The incident, which took place on Pancake Day, followed an exchange of insults throughout the event.

Danis mocked KSI’s appearance and accused him of using performance-enhancing drugs—claims KSI denied.

As tensions rose, KSI took his chance during the face off to swipe Danis across the face with a pancake, sparking an immediate reaction.

Fans however were convinced the act was staged. 'Staged as hell. Look at the guy behind Ksi with the wristband touch him seconds before he slaps him,' one wrote on social media.

Another added: 'To be fair though, I reckon it was probably set up. YouTubers don't really make it a secret they they try to "sell a fight".

'A lot of people probably weren't going to touch this fight after the Dillon Danis embarrassment against Logan Paul.'

A third said: 'All these things are PLANNED.'

Others claimed it was no coincidence it happened seven days after Eubank Jr and Benn's explosive exchange.

'This is like the most predictable trend now.. just slap your opponent at the weigh in,' one fan said.

Danis also hinted that KSI had included contract clauses restricting certain topics, likely to prevent personal attacks similar to those Danis launched against Logan Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal, in a previous fight buildup.

Danis had shared over 250 derogatory posts about Agdal, including an explicit image, leading to a lawsuit against him in September 2023 for cyber harassment and bullying. A judge granted Agdal a restraining order against Danis.

Danis, who is currently being sued by Agdal, has accused KSI of leaking information to him about Paul. KSI has denied any involvement.

Despite the lawsuit, Danis fought Paul in October 2023, though Paul claimed Danis would still face legal consequences.

The pancake slap adds to the growing trend of viral antics in influencer boxing, where personal feuds and promotional theatrics continue to blur the lines between hype and hostility.
