Married At First Sight star Gia Fleur has made a surprise move into the property game, snapping up a tropical investment pad she plans to turn into an Airbnb.

The reality TV bride has purchased a stylish apartment in Port Douglas, Queensland, transforming the property into a colourful holiday retreat dubbed the Pink Palm.

Gia told Daily Mail the purchase was both an investment and a sentimental project she hopes will remain in her family for years to come.

'I bought it for an investment and made it girly for my girls to keep one day,' she said.

'A fun project as I love renovating and a permanent place for us to vacation whenever we want.

'Plans are to Airbnb it out and have it to keep as a place for us to come for a holiday whenever we want.'

The property has been given a distinctly feminine makeover, with bubblegum pink walls, hot pink cushions and pops of turquoise creating a Palm Springs-meets-Miami aesthetic.

Photos from the listing show the queen bedroom decked out with blush bedding, bright pink cushions and a turquoise throw, while shell-shaped accents and bohemian wall hangings complete the playful look.

The kitchen continues the theme with pink marble-style benchtops and colourful artwork, while the living space features soft pink furnishings and tropical greenery.

Guests also have access to a resort-style swimming pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens, with the ground-floor property featuring its own private outdoor area.

According to the Airbnb listing, the Pink Palm has been designed as a 'stylish tropical pink escape in Port Douglas'.

The property includes a queen bedroom, sofa bed and portable cot, making it suitable for couples and young families.

'Enjoy resort style pool access and chic Palm Springs-meets-Miami interiors,' the listing reads.

The ground-floor apartment has no stairs, offering easier access for families with prams and guests with limited mobility.

It also boasts a private garden, with the listing describing the property as having a 'sanctuary feel'.

The apartment is located close to the famous Four Mile Beach as well as Macrossan Street, Port Douglas' bustling dining and shopping strip.

The property move comes amid an exciting new chapter for Gia, who revealed in July that she is expecting her second child and her first with boyfriend Alan Wallace.

Gia announced the pregnancy just months after her turbulent marriage to Scott McCristal played out on Married At First Sight.

Gia later revealed the couple are expecting a baby girl, sharing footage from a gender reveal party in which pink confetti confirmed the news. New Idea

It will be Gia's second daughter, with the reality star already mum to her eldest girl, who featured prominently in her MAFS storyline.

Gia and former Love Triangle contestant Alan went public with their romance after filming wrapped, while her relationship with Scott ultimately came to an end during the experiment's final stages.
