Hi Everyone,
First time poster here, so please point me in the right direction if this is not the appropriate category to post in.
I’ve built a small browser-based HTML-to-Markdown converter and editor:
MD Studio
MD Studio — Rich Text & HTML to Markdown Converter
Convert formatted text and HTML into clean, editable Markdown in your browser. Preview, copy, or download the result—free and without an account.
It started as a personal project to help me learn AI-assisted web development and Markdown. I’m not a Markdown expert but I became interested in the format after seeing how widely Markdown is used in AI tools and software-development workflows.
MD Studio lets you paste or import HTML, edit the converted Markdown, preview it, and copy or download the result. It supports GFM and CommonMark options, runs without an account, and processes document content locally in the browser.
This is a non-commercial learning project. If anyone is interested in trying it, I’d really appreciate feedback on incorrect conversion, unexpected CommonMark behaviour, confusing decisions or anything important I’ve overlooked.
Feedback is welcome here or at:
