Here is our review of the SJCAM SJ6 Ultra Action Camera.

Capture every adventure in stunning detail with the SJCAM SJ6 Ultra, a compact 4K action camera designed for anyone who wants great-looking footage without the premium price tag. Enjoy true 4K video at 30fps and 20MP photos, with a 166° wide-angle lens that fits more of the world into every shot.
Stay steady with SteadyMotion 2.0 six-axis gyro stabilisation and 45° horizon correction that keeps your footage level through turns, leans and rough terrain. Frame yourself perfectly with dual screens, a 2.0″ rear touchscreen and a 1.3″ front display for selfies and vlogging.
Weighing just 77 grams and waterproof to 30m with the included case, the SJ6 Ultra goes wherever you do. Enjoy hands-free multi-language voice control, lossless vertical shooting, dual-band Wi-Fi, live streaming, a dedicated Dash Cam mode and support for an optional wireless microphone.
Features
The box contains the Camera, Battery, Waterproof Case, Frame, 2 x Helmet Mounts, Base Mount, USB Cable, Cleaning Cloth, 3M Stickers, Lens Cap and 2 x Adapters.
A Closer Look
Final ThoughtsThe SJ6 Ultra is very small and very light at just 77 grams, so you can mount it on a helmet or a bike and pretty much forget it is there.
You can record video in 4K at 30fps, 2K at up to 60fps and 1080p at up to 120fps if you fancy some slow motion, and the footage looks really good – sharp, colourful and full of detail, especially in good light. Photos can be taken at up to 20MP.
The stabilisation works really well and smooths out most of the bumps, and the 45° horizon correction keeps everything nice and level even when you are leaning into corners.
Having two screens is really useful. The rear touchscreen makes getting around the menus simple and quick, and the front screen means you can easily check you are actually in shot when vlogging (only the rear screen is touch-enabled though).
There are plenty of shooting modes to choose from – Time Lapse, Slow Motion, Live Streaming and Dash Cam – and there is also a handy 15 second pre-recording feature, so you won’t miss the moment if you are a little slow hitting the button.
You can also control the camera with your voice, which is great when your hands are busy, and lossless vertical shooting means you can capture clips ready for TikTok or Instagram without losing any of the 4K quality.
Don’t worry about getting it wet, the supplied waterproof case lets you take it down to 30 metres. Just remember you can’t use the touchscreen once it’s sealed in the case, so set everything up first.
The 1000mAh battery is removable, so picking up a spare is a good idea if you are planning a long day out. Storage is via microSD card up to 512GB (you will need to supply your own).
Connecting to the SJCAM app over Wi-Fi is really simple and with 5GHz support, previewing and downloading your footage is nice and quick. You can also pair it with the optional SJCAM M4 wireless microphone for better audio – definitely worth considering if you plan on doing a lot of vlogging.
The SJCAM SJ6 Ultra is available now priced around £112 and the M4 Wireless Microphone is priced around £14.
