Three years ago, Jeffrey Katzenberg, co-founder and former CEO of DreamWorks Animation, predicted that the number of artists needed to make a world-class animated movie would decrease from 500 to less than 50 by 2026.
When Katzenberg made his prediction in 2023, my first concern wasn’t whether he would turn out to be right or wrong.
