Family Fortunes' replacement in the TV schedules has been revealed after the game show was pulled from our screens amid major controversy regarding Gino D’Acampo.

The popular ITV gameshow, which hit our screens in 1980, has been presented by the Italian chef since 2020.

In recent months Gino, 48, has faced a string of accusations of inappropriate behaviour towards women - which he has denied.

And now, instead of airing Family Fortunes on a Sunday night, Stephen Mulhern's Celebrity Catchphrase will be on instead.

This will come into play this Spring after ITV made the decision not to air the shelved series of Family Fortunes.

ITV commissioner Gemma John-Lewis confirmed to TV Zone: 'We’re delighted to announce a further series of the much-loved family favourite, Celebrity Catchphrase.

'The only show where you say what you see, the hugely popular series continues to win legions of fans, and with Stephen’s infectious and playful humour, it’s a firm favourite with our viewers.'

Executive Producer and Creative Director of STV Studios Entertainment, Gary Chippington, added: 'It’s testament to Catchphrase’s fantastic format and universal appeal that it’s still one of the UK’s most-loved entertainment shows, four decades after ITV first commissioned it.

'The incomparable Stephen Mulhern is a huge part of the show’s success, and we’re looking forward to getting back in the studio with him and a great line-up of stars later this year for what promises to be another brilliant series of Celebrity Catchphrase.'

The tenth series of the Celebrity Catchphrase will premiere on 23rd March 2025.

Fans will be happy to know that it will also be returning for an 11th in the near future.

The upcoming series will see three famous faces battle it out to win money for their chosen charities - with a top jackpot of £50,000.

The celebrities taking part haven't been confirmed as of yet.
