The comics are a recognisable pair from the larger group of Dabarkads (hosts) behind the hit series. For millions of Filipinos, Eat Bulaga! has been a welcome guest at the table during lunchtime, bringing segments of sketch comedy, celebrities and games to screens across the Philippines. Fans of the comedy variety show can now enjoy the duo’s distinctly Filipino humour, familiar references and the unmistakable Tondo-meets-Naga chemistry that has endeared them to generations of viewers live and in person.

Taking place during Abu Dhabi’s winter months, the headline acts for the third edition of the capital’s biggest infusion of all things funny include Mo Amer, Maz Jobrani, Morgan Jay and Russell Peters.

After reaching the semifinals of NBC’s Bring the Funny, LA-based comedian and performer Morgan Jay rose to notoriety on social media with viral clips of his signature use of auto-tuned audience participation. His smooth vocals, clever punchlines, and crowd-driven comedy have helped him to sell out international tours and become one of the most distinctive voices in modern comedy.
