Xbox Game Pass is getting a fresh batch of games this month, and Gears of War: E-Day is the headliner. Also confirmed for October 2026 are Echo Weaver, Neon Abyss 2, Valor Mortis and The Seance of Blake Manor, along with Keeper, Deep Dish Dungeon, Beyond These Stars, Chained Beasts and Terrible Lizards.

The lineup mixes big franchise releases with indie, action and PC-focused titles. It is only the confirmed list so far, so more games could be announced before the month is out. Subscribers should treat the schedule as a working list rather than a final one.

The month opens with Keeper on Oct. 2, which joins XGP Premium. Four days later, on Oct. 6, Gears of War: E-Day arrives on Game Pass.

It is one of the biggest Xbox releases of the month and tells the origin story of the Gears of War franchise. Since it is framed as a starting point for the series, it may be a natural entry for players who have not followed the earlier games.

The following week is crowded. Echo Weaver and Neon Abyss 2 both arrive on Oct. 8, giving subscribers two new games on the same day.

Deep Dish Dungeon and Valor Mortis follow on Oct. 13. Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike from the creators of Ghostrunner, which should catch the eye of fans of fast, punishing combat.

Two more titles land on Oct. 15. Beyond These Stars is a PC-only Game Pass release, while Chained Beasts joins the service the same day.

The schedule wraps up with The Seance of Blake Manor on Oct. 27 and Terrible Lizards on Oct. 29. Both are part of the currently confirmed Game Pass list.

Plenty of other games launch on Xbox this month without a Game Pass listing. These include Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, Planet Zoo 2, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, Toy Story Retro Roundup, Final Fantasy Resonance and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

An Xbox release date does not mean a game is included with Game Pass. If one of these titles is on your wishlist, check its store page before planning your month around it.

Two entries in the list carry extra conditions. Keeper is tagged for XGP Premium, and Beyond These Stars is PC only, so availability depends on both your plan and your platform.

Release dates can also shift, and Microsoft may add more games as the month goes on. The 10 confirmed additions currently run from Oct. 2 through Oct. 29, so it is worth rechecking the Game Pass catalog each week.
