The mother of a four-year-old boy who drowned last month in a pool at The Reserve at Mountain Pass on Central Avenue has filed a Circuit Court suit.

Jaliyah Posley is suing the apartment complex for the death of Sy'mir Draco Vinson on Aug. 20, four days after he was found underwater at the pool.

The suit says the pool gate can be opened by young children, and it says no lifeguard or operator was on duty.

The victim was at the pool with his six-year-old brother and two other boys who were staying with his uncle, Deshundre Vinson.

Deshundre Vinson is facing criminal charges.
