MINNEAPOLIS — Blue Buffalo launched its new limited-time treats — Game Day Nudges and Health Bars Touchdown Treats — to help sports fans celebrate football season with their dogs. 

Game Day Nudges are formulated with real meat and are free from artificial preservatives. Packaged in special football-themed packaging, the treats are available in three flavors: Steak Grillers, Chicken Jerky Cut and Chicken Pot Pie.

Health Bars Touchdown Treats are football-shaped treats formulated with US-sourced bacon, vitamins and minerals. The treats are bacon, egg and cheese flavored and baked to provide a palatable crunch.

“Game day is a whole-family occasion, and for many households, that includes their dog,” said Ashley Soukup, business unit director for Cat Feeding and Dog Treating at parent company General Mills. “We created Game Day Nudges and Health Bars Touchdown Treats to give pet parents an easy way to include their furry family members in game day rituals, allowing them to cheer on the home team with the high-quality and flavorful snacks they deserve.”

Game Day Nudges are currently available in-store and online and Health Bars Touchdown Treats will be available beginning Nov. 2.
