Simone Biles said three masked intruders stole her Porsche during a frightening break-in at a home she shared in Chicago with husband Jonathan Owens.

The legendary gymnast described what happened in a TikTok video on Sept. 21 in which she wrote in the caption that the luxury car has since been recovered.

Biles, 29, said in the video that she was getting ready to pick up her new car.

“Feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche,” she said. “Stole the GTS. But that’s another story. If you guys want to know, I’ll do a story time on that.”

Owens, 31, who is a safety for the Indianapolis Colts, previously played in Chicago for the Bears in 2024 and 2025. It’s not clear when the alleged burglary occurred.

“I feel like I need a reality TV show,” Biles said. “The things that happen to me are absolute insanity, and so it would be really easy for producers to just film regularly.”

Several high-profile athletes have been the victims of theft in recent years. A Seattle man was charged in 2025 for allegedly burglarizing the homes of multiple Seattle Mariners players as well as former Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman and Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Blake Snell.

In 2024, the homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow were burglarized.

Biles added that she and Owens have brought in additional protection after the car theft.

“That is one of the reasons why we also got our Doberman,” she said.

The revelation by the seven-time Olympic gold medalist came three months after she had a health scare she called “one of, if not the scariest experience of my life.” Biles shared the unspecified medical issue on her Instagram story on June 6.

“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age,” Biles captioned a photo of her wrist with hospital bands on it. “But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week.”

Owens was in training camp with the Colts at the time.

“This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan was in Indy for practices,” she wrote.

She then shared on her Instagram story on July 23 that she had a “procedure” that required a hospital visit.

Biles did specify what the procedure concerned or if it was connected to her health scare in June.
