There's good reason why the Princess of Wales always returns to an elegant fit-and-flare dress.

While Kate has built an impressive collection of smart business suits in recent years, her latest appearance at Eton College proved the enduring power of a well-cut dress.

As she and Prince William dropped their eldest son, Prince George, off at the prestigious boarding school, Kate opted for a hunter green dress by Emilia Wickstead.

She completed the look with carefully chosen accessories, including her Laura Lombardi Portrait Necklace, Cartier Trinity earrings and a new pair of Gianvito Rossi court shoes.

Kate previously wore the dress in November 2023, when she met Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel, at Windsor Castle.
