Political regimes across the globe are tilting toward dictatorial tendencies. We perceive this clearly in the overt authoritarianism of Russia, China, and Turkey, but also within established democracies like the United States and India, where aggressive political leadership has steadily eroded institutional checks and balances.

As power centralises and global alliances shift, the historic resistance of Chilean poet and Nobel Laureate Pablo Neruda (1904–1973) against fascism, tyranny, and imperialism becomes more than just history—it becomes a necessity to revisit.
