Mayor Wamp and his minions on the Hamilton County Commission should not select a replacement for Democrat Jill Black of District 11 for the School Board. Instead, the Hamilton County Commission should pave the way for both parties to place a name on the ballot in November. That would be the fair and democratic way to remedy this empty seat.

Always the first to stand in the way of democracy and fairness, Mrs. Gail Greene, head of the Calvary Chapel wing of the Hamilton County Republican Party, suggests that Mayor Wamp and his enablers choose a Republican to fill the School Board seat until the 2028 election. Never mind that Jill Black is a Democrat who recently beat her Republican challenger less than a month ago. If you can’t beat them at the ballot box, beat them with backroom political shenanigans.

If anything, the recent local elections demonstrated that the voters wanted greater transparency from our Hamilton County leaders. Mark Herndon, a political unknown and novice, almost did the unthinkable, defeat the sitting County Mayor with the last name Wamp. A County Mayor who made far-reaching decisions alone, and in the dark, springing his decisions at hastily called photo-ops. Obviously, Gail Greene and her coven have learned nothing from their election night debacle. Instead of choosing transparency, this faction of the County Republican Party prefers to dwell in the darkness, with other creatures of the night.

It’s time to let the light shine in! It will be the like the “Light of a Clear Blue Morning.” RIP Dolly.

Why would anyone pay attention to the obnoxious drivel from the “so called” lawyer C. Mark Warren as he constantly berates our fine County Mayor and every Republican on the county commission?  As a business owner, I’m offended by his nastiness.

It’s almost like some partisan hack is writing these letters for him since he mentions Mark Herndon again as if the campaign is still going on.  I would think that someone who poses in his advertisements on TV and print would have more class than this.   

Come on C. Mark, you are better than this.
