It has been a number of years since you last held open town halls with us. I realize Trump tells y'all not to have them but I don't know why he tells y'all that. Even the GOP candidate for Governor refused to debate. This is not fair to those you folks want to represent.

You need to know what's on our minds and we need to know what's on yours. All of these photo ops with businesses do nothing for us. We don't know who these people are, what they do, what the business does or how it affects the district.

You tout this or that company will bring jobs but you never tell us what they are. You never tell us anything about these companies, Chuck. I'm fact, you don't tell us anything.

I have known you for nearly 30 years. You were there to give your support to your predecessor for many years. You saw first hand how he interacted in public. Why can't you interact with the voters except for partisan political gatherings? You represent all of the people in this district, not just the Republicans. You won't even tell us why you won't interact with us. You used to be an approachable person before you were elected to office...now, you seem to care less about anybody that's either not a Republican elected official or a meha-business that wants to operate in the Third District. 

I know I am not the only one who feels this way. I read all the time where people say they tried to contact you and never heard back. 

The communication between you and your constituents sucks. Why won't you acknowledge the people who put you in that position? 

Personally, I feel that you have abandoned us, and that makes me feel sad because I knew you before you got this way.

I realize you receive a lot of negative feedback and criticism but if you stand back and look at what people are saying, you would see that we desperately need you on our side.

Gas prices are $4.00/gallon...grocery prices are out of control and a lot of families need to know that you are willing to help, but we don't see that from you. 

You stay on Washington except for photo-ops.

Don't let your people get in the way. There is an election coming up and whether you know it or not, you have a Democrat challenger. That should be enough to bring you home for a visit with voters. A lot of folks that have voted for you in the past just might not this time around...but either you don't have a clue or you just don't care.

I no longer tow the "Party" line and always vote Republican. I vote for the person that I see who is going to be accountable and interact with others. I will vote for a Democrat in a heartbeat over someone who I see as non-responsive and I encourage others to do the same.

Chuck, come home and meet your constituents. It's just the right thing to do.
