In this guide, we'll tell you where to find the Dragon Shelter crafting materials you need to repair the town and build new equipment for your farm!

Additional crafting materials can be found in town and the area around it.

Here are all of the Dragon Shelter crafting materials we've discovered and where you can find them.

Please note that this list only includes raw resources; for crafted items, please consult our Crafting and Unlocks Guide.

Berry

You can get Berries by harvesting the berry bushes on your farm. Take care not to destroy them, as they may not grow back at all, and you won't gain the ability to plant new ones for quite a while.

Berries are an excellent source of early-game food and food for your dragons, especially when you cook them into Jam.

Caterpillar Light

You can get Caterpillar Light by using an Alchemy Flask on a Caterpillar when the bottle icon is above it. Feed a Caterpillar consistently for a few days, and it will eventually give you the opportunity to collect a Caterpillar Light from it.

Clay

You can get Clay by destroying the large brown piles in town, most notably on the western beach.

Copper Ore

You can get Copper Ore by breaking the rocks with pieces of copper in them on the farm; you can also find a few of these rocks in town. You'll need a Stone Pickaxe, Iron Pickaxe, or Festival Pickaxe to collect Copper Ore.

Fireflies

Fireflies can be found in a few places on your farm as swarms of glowing yellow bugs; they appear to respawn infrequently and randomly.

Make sure not to ever sell any Fireflies — you'll need them for crafting Fire Essence in future quests, and you'll have to wait for them to respawn if you don't have enough!

Hardwood Log

You can only get Hardwood Log by chopping down the largest trees on your farm and in town; this will require either an Iron Axe or a Festival Axe.

Hay

You can easily get Hay by cutting any grass or weeds on your farm or in town. You'll eventually end up collecting a lot, but grass regrows quickly; you should only hold onto one or two full stacks and discard the rest by selling it.

Herb

You can get Herb by collecting the purple flowers on your farm. Take care not to sell it, as it does not appear to respawn (or respawns very infrequently).

Iron Ore

You can get Iron Ore by breaking the rocks with dots of iron ore in them on your farm and in town. You'll need a Copper Pickaxe or Festival Pickaxe to collect it.

Log

As you might expect, you can get Logs by chopping down trees and fallen logs on your farm and in town.

Memory Nuts

You can only get Memory Nuts by collecting them from the greenish-blue bushes on your farm. This is the only place to collect them, so take care not to destroy all of the bushes.

Oak Log

You can get Oak Log by destroying the medium-sized trees on your farm and in town; you'll need a Copper Axe or Festival Axe to chop them down.

Silk

Silk can only be collected from Caterpillars once you've unlocked livestock. After feeding them the first day, they should begin producing one silk per Caterpillar after a day or two.

Slime Thread

You can get Slime Thread from raising Water Jellyfish on your farm; you'll typically get one per day per Water Jellyfish.

Smoldering Coal

Smoldering Coal is dropped by Fire Salamanders, a type of animal you can raise on your farm. As with other animals, you'll need to feed them for the first day and wait a day or two before they start producing.

Stick

Unsurprisingly, you'll get Sticks as a byproduct of chopping down other trees. Sticks are used in very few crafting recipes, so it's not a bad idea to sell any excess Sticks beyond one stack.

Stone

Stone is ubiquitous and can be found throughout the farm and the village; simply break up the large clusters of rocks with a Pickaxe.
