Erick began actively contributing to WordPress by helping people with different issues in the Forums. His love for hunting for bugs, breaking things, and seeing how they work led him to the Test Team. Aside from testing, he has also contributed to Core Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. The Core Development Team builds WordPress. and Translation. He now serves as the Co-Test Lead for WordPress 7.2.

His professional background is currently centered around Quality Assurance (QA Engineer). Erick is dedicated to helping WordPress improve in every way possible.

Residing in the ‘Green City Under the Sun’, Nairobi, he spends most of his free time drawing, painting, hiking, and reading. He also enjoys learning new languages and is currently learning French.

Huzaifa Al Mesbah is an open-source contributor and WordPress developer from Bangladesh. He has been contributing to WordPress since 2023, with a strong focus on Core development, testing, and community engagement.

An active Test Team member, Huzaifa helps maintain the Test Team Handbook, performs patch testing and triage, and works to improve overall test quality. He began his Core contributions with WordPress 6.3 and has continued contributing consistently to every major WordPress release since then, through WordPress 7.0. He has also been recognized as a Noteworthy Contributor for WordPress 6.4, 6.5, and 7.0, and is serving as Test Co-Lead for the WordPress 7.1 Release Squad.

Huzaifa has served as Test Table Lead at WordCamp WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress.
