Mangaluru will host the sixth edition of Technovanza 2026 on September 22 and 23, bringing together startups, investors, GCCs and other stakeholders.

Mangaluru will host the sixth edition of ‘Mangaluru Technovanza 2026’ on September 22 and 23. This initiative of the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) under its ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ vision will bring together government, industry, startups, investors, academia and key ecosystem stakeholders to explore the next phase of Mangaluru’s digital economy and its emergence as the ‘Silicon Beach of India’.

Addressing media persons in Mangaluru on Thursday, Gaurav Hegde, an industry leader from Mangaluru, said the event will bring together more than 600 delegates, 70-plus startups, around 60 Global Capability Centres (GCCs), more than 20 investors and 10-plus venture capital firms from across Karnataka.

The programme will centre on four key growth engines - GCCs, data centres, startups and med-tech - alongside innovation, investment, skills, global partnerships and sustainable urban development, examining the capabilities, talent, infrastructure and partnerships needed to strengthen Mangaluru’s technology and innovation ecosystem.

The main programme will feature a Fireside Chat with Priyank Kharge, Karnataka Minister for Home, IT and BT and e-Governance, centred on the State’s vision for Mangaluru as the ‘Silicon Beach of India’.

Prashanth Shenoy, Co-Founder and CTO of UniCourt and technology leader from Mangaluru, said there will be a start-up pitching session – ‘Mangaluru Blue’ – on September 22. More than 100 start-ups have already enrolled for this event. More than 20 investors and around 10 venture capital firms will participate, alongside HNIs;; angel investors are also likely to attend.

Several startups have shown interest in setting up booths at the event venue on September 23.

Shyamprasad Hebbar, President of TiE-Mangaluru and another industry leader, said the parallel programmes at ‘Mangaluru Technovanza’ will feature dedicated GCC and startup and innovation roundtables, covering startup policy awareness.
