The Japan Game Awards 2026 took place today with the Tokyo Game Show happening imminently, and we have the full list of winners. Results were largely based on titles that shipped in Japan between June 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026.

This was a strong year for Nintendo with multiple games receiving awards. Pokemon Pokopia was the biggest winner of all, earning the Grand Award. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie was even given the Special Award.
