Netlfix has revealed the first official trailer for the new biopic documentary titled Norm: The Tale of Norm Macdonald, ready for streaming starting in October this fall. This doc about the life & laughs of the ingenious Canadian comedian Norm Macdonald is directed by acclaimed comedy filmmaker Judd Apatow, who has been on a roll with new docs recently (including Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man! & Maria Bamford doc coming up). The tale of one of comedy's most singular & influential voices. The life and career of the stand-up and SNL legend, from his rise as the deadpan anchor of "Weekend Update" to his enduring legacy as a beloved comedian’s comedian — the very best at absurd, dry, and unexpected humor. Tumble into a wormhole in this doc about the master of deadpan humor Norm Macdonald, whose life was uncompromising yet full of contradictions. Built from archival footage, personal photos, and a few rare home videos contributed by fans and friends.
