Presley Gerber — the late son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber — was struggling and sought help in his final days, Page Six is told.

“He seemed a little off in recent weeks. Something was just not there. Energetically, he didn’t seem like himself,” a source exclusively shared with us on Monday, one day after the 27-year-old died at a rehab facility in Santa Monica, California.

Presley — who tried to follow in his mom and sister Kaia Gerber’s modeling footsteps — “felt like he was lacking purpose in his life,” “hadn’t really found his place” and “didn’t really know where he wanted to go and what he wanted to do,” according to our source.

“He was struggling with a lot of things, but he wanted so, so badly to be free of his addictions,” our source lamented. “He was such a good kid.”

We’re told Presley checked into the treatment center over the weekend.

“He went in because he knew he needed help. He had not been doing well. He’s always suffered from a huge lack of self-esteem and had trouble accepting his real self and feeling fully confident in who he was as a person,” our source said.

Responding paramedics pronounced Presley dead at 9:45 Sunday morning, per the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner, approximately 10 minutes after Santa Monica Police Department officers responded to a report of a possible overdose.

The 911 dispatch audio obtained by Page Six revealed Presley was in “cardiac arrest.”

Presley’s cause and manner of death are still pending, though investigators do not suspect foul play.

The County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner told Page Six that “additional testing and/or studies were requested in order to make a determination” on cause of death.

The nepo baby battled addiction and mental health issues for several years, previously admitting to abusing alcohol, opioids, painkillers, anti-anxiety medications, benzodiazepines like Xanax and dissociative general anesthetics like ketamine.

We’re told Presley — who was arrested for driving under the influence in December 2018 at age 19 — was struggling with “the full gamut” at the time of his death.

“He was such a kind person, but he grew up in that strange Malibu world where it’s very easy to fall into drugs and drinking as you are growing up,” our source explained of Presley’s upbringing.

“It can be brutal out there. Yes, it’s a lovely lifestyle, but it’s also very isolated in a way and that can be hard and make substances an easy temptation to turn to. It’s a very carefree way of life, but with that comes other temptations.”

We’re told Presley — who was very close with his family — was with them last week and spent a lot of time with his hospitality entrepreneur dad, specifically.

“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” a rep for the Gerber-Crawford clan told Page Six when reached for comment.

Presley looked happy and healthy in his final Instagram post, which he uploaded on Aug. 5.

In the nine-slide carousel, the smiling model showed off his Vuori outfit as he struck various poses in a garden.
