Los Dos de Tamaulipas AFINARTE MUSIC

Los Dos de Tamaulipas takes over with the group’s third No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart as “La Clika” climbs 5-1 on the Sept. 19 dated tally.

After spending 18 weeks and counting in the Hot Latin Songs chart’s top 10 with “Ayúdame,” the twin brothers extend their chart run success with its third champ on Regional Mexican Airplay — and the second from the album Expansión. The new No. 1 follows “El Chavalón,” a one-week ruler last March.

Released on AfinArte, “La Clika” leads Regional Mexican Airplay fueled by a 24% growth in audience impressions, to 6.1 million, earned in the United States, during the tracking week ending Sept. 10, according to Luminate. The song rockets from No. 5 to No. 1, knocking Chuyin’s “Pues Qué Le Hago?” to No. 19, after one week on top.

The latter’s 18-position plunge marks the second-biggest drop in the nearly 32-year history of the Regional Mexican Airplay chart — and of 2026. Banda Carnaval’s “De Nuestro Amor No Queda Nada” holds the record for the steepest, falling from No. 1 to 21 in June, while Duelo’s “Te Cura El Tiempo” dropped 1-16, in May.

With its new ruling result, Los Dos de Tamaulipas becomes the fourth group comprised of siblings to achieve three or more No. 1s on Regional Mexican Airplay, following Los Ángeles Azules, Los Temerarios and Los Dos Carnales. Elsewhere, Los Dos de Tamaulipas also adds a third top 10 on the overall Latin Airplay chart, where “La Clika” rallies 11-3.

Meanwhile, in addition to “La Clika” climbing 31-19 on Hot Latin Songs, parent album Expansión keeps winning as two other tracks make progress: As mentioned, “Ayúdame” — in its 18th week in the top 10 — is at No. 4, and “Gastando Verdes” surges 40-32.
