Nothing is budging Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” (via Sony Music) from the top of the leaderboard on the ARIA Singles Chart, as the country hit collects a 14^th non-consecutive week at No. 1.

It’s an impressive streak, although “Choosin’ Texas” will need to reach deep should it close in on some of the all-time champions. Tones And I’s “Dance Monkey” is king of the jungle, with 24 non-consecutive weeks atop the ARIA Singles Chart.

“Choosin’ Texas” has gone the distance in the United States, where it scores a 22nd week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 — tying for the longest reign, equaling Mariah Carey’s jolly No. 1 run with “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Just one new title impacts the latest ARIA chart, published Friday, Sept. 18, and it has a local flavor. Adéla’s “Nicole Kidman” (Capital/Universal) starts at No.14 — just one place behind the Slovak singer and songwriter’s “Ain’t In LA,” up 15-13.

Tame Impala accounts for the Australian contingent on the national singles survey. Kevin Parker’s psychedelic pop act has two Deadbeat (Columbia/Sony) tracks in the top 40: “Loser,” down 7-9, and “Dracula,” up 26-21.

Over on the ARIA Albums Chart, Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love (Geffen/Universal) returns to No. 1 after a four-week break. You Seem Pretty Sad has now chalked up six non-consecutive weeks at the summit.

The best of the new arrivals belongs to Australian-born, Los Angeles-based artist and producer Jack Gray, whose debut album Swimming In Jeans (Island/Universal) dives in at No. 7. It’s the week’s best-seller in Australia on vinyl. Hailing from Mackay, Queensland, Gray recorded Swimming In Jeans across a 12-month period in studios around the world. He produced and performed almost the entire album himself, contributing drums, bass, guitar, synth and piano. Following this Saturday’s (Sept. 19) performance at Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany, Gray joins In Color for tour dates in the United States and Canada.

Meanwhile, British electronic artist Bonobo (real name: Simon Green) drops in at No. 22 on the ARIA Chart with Distance in Static (Ninja Tune/Inertia), his eighth album, while U.S. R&B singer Jhené Aiko (Westside Whimsy at No. 42 via Def Jam/Universal) and homegrown folk artist Mietta (When The Water Stills at No. 49 via GYRO) enjoy top 50 starts.
