Georgina Rodriguez removed her $3million engagement ring from husband Cristiano Ronaldo to show off huge Chopard diamond jewellery as she walked the red carpet at Venice Film Festival on Friday. The influencer, 32, announced her engagement to the football ace, 41, on August 11 2025, with the beauty showing off her 30-carat diamond ring from the billionaire athlete. However, as she stepped out to attend the Mr Nelson, Did You Kill People? screening at Sala Grande in Venice, Georgina opted to forgo her dazzling rock and instead adorn herself with jewels from the luxury Swiss brand. Georgina cut a classy figure in a plunging navy suit jacket and matching split back skirt, boosting her height with towering black stilettos. The star of the show was her jewellery however, with Georgina donning encrusted crescent-shaped rings and matching earrings, in addition to a statement choker. The Argentinian stunner was sure to highlight her bling as she carefully placed her hands in front of her while posing for the cameras. And while she was without her dazzling sparkler, Georgina still kept on the simple gold wedding band she used to exchange vows with from her nuptials just weeks ago.

Georgina was in great spirits at the event, smiling and waving to crowds as she walked the red carpet. The model also drew attention to her incredible figure, as she turned this way and that in her form-fitting ensemble. This isn't the first time that Georgina has decked herself out in Chopard jewellery, with it being said she wore jewels estimated to be worth £56million to her intimate wedding to Cristiano last month. The couple tied the knot exactly a year after announcing their engagement in a low-key at-home ceremony surrounded by their children.

Despite the scaled-down wedding, Georgina wore an eye-catching Chopard Garden of Kalahari necklace with a D-flawless 50-carat brilliant-cut diamond as its centrepiece, as well as a matching bracelet, earrings and ring. Meanwhile, in Venice, Georgina was in good company on the red carpet as Marion Cotillard was also in attendance to support the film. The French actress, 50, opted for a structured strapless black top and smart black trousers for the film event. Inspired by the real life of Allen Nelson, Mr. Nelson, Did You Kill People? explores the horrors of the Vietnam War told through the eyes of a Black American soldier.

Newlywed Georgina's outing comes after she and Ronaldo married in their living room in Portugal last month – and the footballer wore a T-shirt and suit jacket as they exchanged vows. The couple married on the tenth anniversary of the day they first met while Georgina was working as a shop assistant at the Gucci store in Madrid, with all of their children present for the ceremony. Georgina and Ronaldo had their first child Alana in 2017. They welcomed Bella Esmeralda, whose twin brother sadly passed away during childbirth in 2022. According to Portuguese media, Georgina is now also the legal guardian of his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr and twins Eva María and Mateo.

The biological mother of 16-year-old Cristiano Jr remains private and the footballer has full custody. He also has full custody of his nine-year-old twins Eva and Mateo, who were born via surrogate. Amid much speculation about the big day, the couple defied most whispers with the pared-back nuptials, with the ceremony going from their house to a nearby church – where Georgina 'couldn't hold back her tears'. She explained to Vogue in the magazine's Summer digital issue: 'We've chosen to do it in the living room of our house here where we have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and where we live the reality of our lives...

'In 30 years' time I want the children to think, something wonderful happened at this table – the wedding vows of our parents. 'When I was a little girl I dreamt of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I'm saying: no. I want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home.' However, the beauty did promise in the interview that they would in the future have a 'big wedding' to celebrate with their wider family and friends but did not elaborate further on their plans.
