NEW ORLEANS — Twenty-eight students were selected to receive the Women in Agribusiness student scholarship, which includes a three-day pass to the 2026 summit.

Recipients also will have access to dedicated student breakfasts, lunches and workshops along with entry to all receptions and special events at the summit, planned Sept. 22 to 24 in New Orleans.

The scholarship program, now marking its 14th year, has supported more than 450 young women in agriculture in attending the summit, backed by more than $1.4 million in cumulative sponsorship funding.

In the competitive selection for the scholarships, candidates must submit a resume, complete a detailed application, and provide a written personal statement about their career goals in agriculture and what makes them a strong fit for the scholarship. More than 50 applications were received for the 2026 cycle.

The 2026 scholarships were made possible through the generous backing of AgReserves, Land O’Lakes, Ardent Mills, Manulife Investment Management, Bunge, Nuveen Natural Capital, Cargill, RFDTV, CF Industries, Syngenta, CHS, Tribal Agriculture Fellowship, Curtis Food Recruiters, World Ag Expo, Farm Credit, US Dairy Export Council, FMC, Wilbur-Ellis and Genus.  

The 28 WIA Student Scholarship recipients and their respective college or university are:
