NEW CENTURY, KAN. — IFF recently announced the appointment of Mark Hotze as chief commercial officer and Thomas Hahlin Ahlinder as senior vice president, Texturizing Solutions, for its Food Ingredients business, strengthening its leadership team as the business prepares to become a standalone company.

Both executives bring more than 25 years of industry experience to their new roles. In their respective positions, Hotze will lead the global commercial organization and customer growth strategy, while Ahlinder will oversee the Texturizing Solutions business for food and beverage customers.

Hotze most recently held senior leadership roles at Corbion, where he led commercial growth initiatives and expanded strategic customer partnerships. He has also held leadership positions with food industry organizations including the American Society of Baking, Baking Equipment Manufacturers and Allieds (BEMA), the Wheat Foods Council and the North American Meat Institute.

Ahlinder was president and chief executive officer of Kerry’s Taste & Nutrition business in Europe and has held senior leadership roles with Döhler and DuPont’s Nutrition & Health business. He also previously served on the board of FoodDrinkEurope.
