On Saturday 26 September 2026, The Museum of Synthesisers will be hosting a full day of hands-on synthesis, sound design and performance at the Standalone Gallery in Dalston, London. 

Hosted in collaboration with Arturia and Source Distribution as part of the Arturia World Tour, the event will offer attendees the chance to play and explore a range of Arturia synthesisers, along with the 1010 Blackbox 2, ASM Leviasynth, Expressive-E Osmose CE and Buchla Ziggy. Sessions on synthesiser history and sound design run will run throughout the day, with jam tables giving visitors space to experiment with the instruments themselves.

The programme concludes with a demonstration and live performance by Arturia. The event is free to attend, with donations welcome on the door. No previous experience is required.

The event marks the first edition of The Sound That Did Not Exist This Morning, a new public programme that’s been designed to provide people with opportunities to play instruments, explore how sounds are made and experience synthesis through listening, experimentation and guided sessions.
